Aqua Lymphatic Therapy

Aqua Lymphatic Therapy (ALT): The Tidhar method of ALT teaches patients self-treatment in a group setting and this course will focus on upper extremity ALT exercises and principles.

This one day course is designed for lymphedema / CDT therapists and health care professionals experienced in treating patients with lymphedema.

The course will include in-pool sessions for all participants. Please bring a swimsuit for the course.

Dorit Tidhar, MSc. PT is a physical therapist from Israel who completed her Master’s research thesis in physical therapy on the topic of Aqua Lymphatic therapy for patients with lymphedema. Her research was published in Support Care Cancer: DOI 10.1007/s00520-009-0669-4. 2009.
