The Basic (5 day) or the Basic / Level 1 transition course must be taken before the Therapy I / Level 2 transition class.

To give you as many possibilities as we can in order to complete the training, the instructor has agreed to offer this class as a Level II rather than a Therapy I class. This will still be a 5-day class with some time to review theory.
In the Level II class, you will receive training in the non-lymphedema pathologies and receive certification in Applied MLD. Many of our therapists use the treatment protocols that we will teach in Level II on a daily basis and by taking this class you have the opportunity to apply the treatments for these pathologies once Level II is complete. Some examples of pathologies taught are orthopedic injuries, whiplash, stroke, epicondylitis and more. These will not be taught in a Level III class.
By taking the Level II class, you are able to continue to the Therapy II & III in 2019 in order to become a fully certified Dr. Vodder therapist. The Therapy II & III class is offered in Vancouver, BC (September 30 to October 11) and in Hadley, MA (November 11 to 22) this year.
You could also take Level III in 2020 which would enable you to become a Dr. Vodder certified lymphedema therapist but not certified in all the other applications for MLD.
